   1983 年由南管名家陳美娥創辦於臺北，以培訓音樂演奏演唱及演藝人才為基礎，再現南管古樂深遂的文化內涵為主旨，並以明確的學術目標精緻的藝術創作，為世界非物 質文化遺產的南管古樂，注入新血活力。1996年首度推出汲取傳統南管樂曲與梨園科步精髓改編的《豔歌行》，古典與前衛並俱，豔驚四座。二十餘年來，漢唐 樂府蜚聲國際，屢獲歐、美、亞地區國際性重要藝術節、大劇院之邀演，實踐「古樂即今樂，今樂即古樂」之文化理想，成功塑造具有普世美學價值的表演藝術新典 範。

    Since its establishment in 1983, Han Tang Yuefu Ensemble has dedicated itself to reviving the graceful tradition of Nanguan music. It has performed at several major art festivals and shared the beauty of Chinese classic music with audiences around the world. In “Autumn Night Songs,” performers dressed in ornate traditional costumes pass lightly across the stage, acting out classical scenes from song, to the accompaniment of five string and woodwind musicians, leading the audience back to days gone by, where they may savor the leisurely lives of ancient intellectuals, reflected in the poetry of an autumn night.
